简介:
　　1568年正值日本战国时代，大名织田信长（丰川悦司饰）之妹织田市（铃木保奈美饰）奉兄长之命，嫁给另一位大名浅井长政（时任三郎饰）为妻虽然是政治联姻，有着战国第一美女之称的织田市却和浅井长政真心相爱，并生儿育女。然而，随着大名之间势力的变化，织田家与浅井家逐渐转向敌对，最终爆发了战争。时为织田信长家臣的丰臣秀吉（岸谷五朗饰）攻陷了浅井家所在的城池，浅井长政切腹自尽，失去庇佑的织田市带着三个女儿——茶茶（宫泽理惠饰）、阿初（水川麻美饰）和阿江（上野树里饰）辗转于血与火的乱世。最终，长女茶茶成为丰臣秀吉的侧室，次女阿初嫁给丰臣秀吉的家臣，幼女阿江历经三次婚姻，后成为德川幕府二代将军德川秀忠（向井理饰）的正室，她的长子家光成为德川幕府的三代将军。　　本剧是日本NHK自20世纪60年代播出第一部大河剧以来的第50部作品。
